Review Drona

Filed under: Abhishek Bachchan, Bollywood, New releases, Priyanka Chopra — Tags: , — Hindi movies @ 12:04 pm

After the success of Krrish many producers and directors have tried to make movies on super heroes.Drona is the latest endeavor by director Goldie Behl. This movie has been in news for quite some time. The promos appeared attractive and did manage to raise the interest of audience.

The story of Drona revolves on the lines of Harry Potter.Drona is a prince who has been separated from his family and is forced to live in England. He is unaware of his family lineage and of his dormant powers. He is been protected by the charming Priyanka Chopra who plays the role of body guard.Kay Kay Menon plays the role of  a psychotic villain but unfortunately  appears funny instead of being mean.

Abhishek fails to play his part as he lacks style.Frankly the director  should have considered someone else for this role.

This movie is just time pass and may be enjoyed by kids but as far as grown ups are concerned we suggest you to avoid it.

Abhisek Stumped

Filed under: Abhishek Bachchan — Tags: — Hindi movies @ 5:56 pm

Do you remember Antara Mali? The actor who wanted to be Madhuri Dixit, but could never become one.Well the news is that during the shooting of ‘Naach’ she’d tell each and everyone how to shoot and act. She even went to the extend of remarking that Abhishek isn’t capable of getting his shot correct. The well mannered Abhishek tolerated the insult and continued with the shot. That was a really rude comment.

Aish visits Abhishek

Filed under: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai — Hindi movies @ 4:44 pm

Aish visited hubby Abhishek on the sets of Drona. Abhishek was shooting for the action flick Drona at Sambhar lake in Rajasthan.Goldie Behl along with wife Sonali Bendre gave them company. With all this support we are sure, Abhishek will give us a blockbuster. Behind every successful man there is a woman and it appears that Aish strongly believes in it.

We would like to add that the rumours of Aish’s pregnancy are wrong. Aish and Abhishek are totally unmindful of the rumours and are totally in love.Sweet na.

Laaga Chunari Me Daag

Filed under: Abhishek Bachchan, Bollywood, Rani Mukherji — Tags: , — Hindi movies @ 1:03 pm

To begin with Laaga Chunari Me Daag is a depressing movie. The story is repeated at least a hundred times in the past; so there is nothing new about this film. The hindi cinema had done away with such gloomy movie. It appears that Yash Raj films has run out of ideas. The audience is not going to accept a movie which lacks substance.Except for Rani’s performance there is nothing worth watching in this film. The script is below average. The story line did not demand any shooting in Switzerland; that part was totally out of context.Aditya Chopra should pay more attention to his film script.

The story deals with the life of Badki(Rani Mukherji). She goes to Mumbai in search of a job.She runs out of options and thus enters into the profession of prostitution. She hides this fact from her family and tells them that she is an event’s manager.Chutki(Konkana Sen) comes to meet her sister after completing her studies. She works for an ad’s agencies where she falls in love with Kunal Kapoor.Chutki discovers the truth and as her marriage day approaches, both the sisters have to face the situations. That is what the climax is all about.

Overall it’s an average film from Yash Raj camp. If you have nothing to do than go and watch it otherwise avoid it.
