Review: Tashan

Filed under: Akshay Kumar, Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor, New releases — Tags: , — Hindi movies @ 5:01 am

One can conviniently say that, the most stupid Hindi Movie of the year award can be given to Tashan!

It is high time for producer Aditya Chopra to produce Hindi Movies of acceptable standards. His production house has given us nothing but senseless flop Hindi Movies. One fails to understand that inspite of getting heavily criticised for the quality of his movies, Mr. Aditya Chopra has failed to change his style of movie making.

The biggest problem with Yash Raj movies is the that they do not have good scripts and screenplay.  The Hindi Movie Tashan also has the same basic problem.  The movie fails to impress the audience because there is no story line. Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor have given nothing but idiotic performances. Akshay Kumar has yet again shown how bad an actor he is. Some one should tell him to retire from the Hindi Movie industry. These guys are taking the audiences for granted. The present Indian audience is intelligent enough to reject such stupid stuff.

It is better if u stay away from Tashan, as it is 3 hours of non-stop torture.

Show Moolah

Filed under: Akshay Kumar, Latest Gossip — Tags: , , — Hindi movies @ 3:47 pm

When our Bollywood stars are not shooting they are either busy attending marriages or shows. They charge whopping amounts to attend such programs. So who is the winner in this new profession, obviously it has to be Shahrukh Khan who is followed by Salman. But there are more surprising news, Akshay Kumar demands and gets one and half crore per show ; can you believe it guys, one and half crore for a show! Our heroines are not lagging behind either Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor get fifty lakhs for a show.

These rates are doubled for marriages and personal parties. In fact in one of the intervies Shaharukh had remarked that there is no money in Hindi movies and therefore whenever he is need of money he just goes and does a show, but he further added that to stay in business he has to do movies.

Aksha’s childhood dream has finally come true. Recently he has bought a magnificent house on Juhu beach. The story goes that Akki as a child would always pester his dad to buy a house at Juhu beach. Fortunately his dream has come true. And we forgot to mention this is in addition to his father-in-law’s mansion ‘Aashirwad’.

Akki is not only lucky but is also a hard working person. All his latest movies are super hits and recently there were news of his signing a 40 crore deal.

Akki is looking great these days ; he has been toning his body a lot.He once said that’ I have to be good as there are so many six pack heroes around getting launched every Friday’. We do agree to that.

Hey Babyy

Filed under: Akshay Kumar, Bollywood, Vidya Balan — Hindi movies @ 3:59 am

Hey Babyy is a remake of the Hollywood movie ‘Three Men and a Baby’. It tells the story of three Casanovas Arush (Akshay Kumar), Ali (Fardeen Khan) and Tanmay (Ritiesh Deshmukh) who are having a blast in Sydney. These men scorn at the very thought of love and marriage as they believe in partying, drinking and sleeping around with various girls. There entire life changes when a little angel lands at their door steps. Sajid Khan tells the story in a humorous manner and manages to keep the interest level high. It is quite funny to see these men deal with the little girl. Our little angel is a cute baby with a sweet face. She definitely steals the show.

The flow of the story is quite smooth and as audience you hardly get bored and that is the best part of the movie. Though the story is quite ordinary and predictable the story does manage to play on your emotions. The emotional scenes are well handled by the stars especially by Fardeen Khan. He has really improved his acting skills and will surely turn out to be a good actor in the future. Akshay Kumar is hilarious as never before and so is Ritiesh Deshmukh. Some of the scenes of the first half are quite hilarious and do manage to make you laugh. Vidya Balan should have concentrated on her looks, she should change her fashion designer her dressing sense was awful. The first half is really good; especially the scene in which our heroes tend to the needs of the baby. The comedy more or less finishes with the first half.

The script and cinematography are average. The music of the film is catchy with songs like ‘Ishaq Mohabat’ and ‘Dil ka Mamala’. The picturisation of these songs is a treat to the eyes.

Overall Sajid Khan has given us a good movie which is quite an entertainer. So if you want to have a good weekend go and watch the movie.
