The Hindi Movie Jannat is the latest movie from the Bhatt camp. The story of the movie deals around the game of cricket. Emran Hashmi plays the role  of a gambler who wants to be a successful  man in life.In order to achieve his aim, he enters the world of match fixing. Within a short time he becomes successful in the business due to his exceptional betting and match fixing skills. The problem is that his beloved is strictly against his profession. What happens to Emraan does he leave his obsession of match fixing or becomes a victim of it, is revealed towards the climax of the movie.

The movie has good performances by Emran and the rest of the  star cast. The title song ‘Jannat Yahain’ is catchy. The movie is shot in beautiful locations and has a modern look.

It’s a good movie and if you have a choice between ‘Narnia’ and Jannat, go for ‘Jannat’.

Review: Tashan

Filed under: Akshay Kumar, Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor, New releases — Tags: , — Hindi movies @ 5:01 am

One can conviniently say that, the most stupid Hindi Movie of the year award can be given to Tashan!

It is high time for producer Aditya Chopra to produce Hindi Movies of acceptable standards. His production house has given us nothing but senseless flop Hindi Movies. One fails to understand that inspite of getting heavily criticised for the quality of his movies, Mr. Aditya Chopra has failed to change his style of movie making.

The biggest problem with Yash Raj movies is the that they do not have good scripts and screenplay.  The Hindi Movie Tashan also has the same basic problem.  The movie fails to impress the audience because there is no story line. Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Anil Kapoor have given nothing but idiotic performances. Akshay Kumar has yet again shown how bad an actor he is. Some one should tell him to retire from the Hindi Movie industry. These guys are taking the audiences for granted. The present Indian audience is intelligent enough to reject such stupid stuff.

It is better if u stay away from Tashan, as it is 3 hours of non-stop torture.

Review On Ironman

Filed under: Hollywood, New releases — Hindi movies @ 3:07 pm

Iron-man is the latest movie from Marvel comics. Unlike other superhero’s, Iron-man is a story of a scientist who uses his talent to make system called Iron-man, which he uses to restore peace in the world. The movie is full of action packed sequences and state of the art visual effects.

The movie starts with the abduction of our superhero by Afghani terrorist. He manages to escape with the help of his invention called Iron-man, which is basically a protection suit which can do spectacular things.

The villain in the movie manages to copy this technology and makes his own suit, but our hero is a die-hard; he succeeds in outwitting the villain and saves the world from certain destruction.

Though the story is simple, the script and screenplay of the movie is well written. This is great time pass movie. Go watch it for sheer fun.

Review: Bhootnath

Filed under: Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood, New releases, Shahrukh Khan — Tags: , — Hindi movies @ 6:23 am

Bhootnath is a Hindi Movie made to entertain kids. This Hindi Movie is about a ghost played by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan who becomes an intimate friend of a small boy, Banku. The movie is a full entertainer for the entire family. The first half is full of humorous shots, which leaves the audience laughing their guts out.

It is quite evident from the movie that the director has shot the movie with passion. The later part of the movie is not as happening as the first part. The songs of the movie are bubbly and meaningful. Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan play the role of Banku’s parents and they give life to the character in the true sense.

The child artist has given very good performance and it is quite entertaining to see him do naughtiness throughout the movie. It is a must watch movie not only for the kids but elders too!!

Review:Forbidden Kingdom

Filed under: Hollywood, New releases — Hindi movies @ 3:43 pm

This is a great movie as it features two titans of the Chinese movie industry. You guys guessed it right-Jet Lee and Jackie Chan.It is the first time that these two heroes have come together on the silver screen.Do they manage two entertain you,the answer is not really.

The movie is a fantasy and has it’s moments of action and humor.Though it is not extraordinary but is quite a  mediocre movie. In fact at times the jokes are repetitive and have been repeated in previous movies. The action scenes are great but overall the movie is worth a one time watch.

Go watch this movie, but do not expect too much as it is a typical Chinese movie with lots of action and less of story line.

Review: Khuda Ke Liye

Filed under: New releases — Hindi movies @ 3:40 pm

The Hindi Movie ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ is a Pakistani movie directed by Shoib Mansoor. There have been many movies made on the subject of terrorism, after September 11, but none of them is as successful in addressing the problem of terrorism as Khuda Ke Liye.

The Hindi Movie tells the story of a girl who gets married against her will to a Pakistani singer who is a religious fanatic. The movie highlights the real issues of fundamentalism. It also brings forward the faulty understanding of religion by its followers. This is evident from one of the dialogs of Nasiruddin Shah, in which he says “Deen Mein Daadhi Hai Na Ke Daadhi Mein Deen Hai”.

The actors have given exceptional performances and the songs are meaningful. The best part of the movie is that it emphasizes the importance of religious understanding and condemns religious fanaticism.

This Hindi Movie should be seen by all, irrespective of their religious backgrounds.

Review: Mr. Black Mr. White

Filed under: Bollywood, New releases — Hindi movies @ 11:33 am

What has happened to Arshad Warsi’s intelligence? What made him sign a stupid Hindi Movie Mr. Black Mr. White? The movie is a nonsensical to core. It lacks in every department of film making. A total wash out in the true sense.

Arshad tries hard to be humorous. But, the script and the story line is such that, even the actor could not prove his worth. Sunil Shetty plays the role of Mr. White who lands up in Goa, in order to take Mr. Black i.e. Arshad Warsi back to Punjab. The movie revolves around this plot and is filled with stupid and poor jokes which are not worth mentioning.

Please avoid this brainless comedy in total !

Bipasha Basu has managed to take out some time out of her busy schedule, for her boyfriend John Abraham. Presently, John Abraham is shooting for Karan Johar’s Dostana, which is directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The duo had wonderful time on the beaches of Miami along with friends like Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.

Bipasha has been shooting nonstop for Yash Raj’s Bachna Ae Haseeno. We hope this movie succeeds at box office, unlike the previous Yash Raj Hindi Movies.

Krazzy4

Filed under: Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan, New releases, Shahrukh Khan — Hindi movies @ 5:16 pm

The release of Krazzy4 is likely to get affected due to the latest controversy in which the music Director Rajesh Roshan has been accused of stealing the title track.

The title track has been picturised on Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik Roshan’s item number excels over Shah Rukh Khan’s.

The break dance reminds the audience of the 80’s. The promos of Krazzy4 are very humorous, especially that of Raj Pal Yadav. The TV star Menon who has always been an entertainer to the core, is reportedly playing the role of the crazy man. The duo Arshad Warshi and Irfan  are likely to give a promising  performance. In the Hindi Movie Sunday, both have already proven their worth.

It seems Krazzy4 is likely to draw huge crowd to the theatres.
