National Treasure: Book Of Secrets
National Treasure:Book Of Secrets, is a sequel of the previous movie National Treasure. Do not go to see this moving with great expectations as the storyline is quite obsolete and predictable and that is the main problem of this film. To make matters worse the script is too confusing with too many sub plots.Due to this the viewer looses track of the story line.
As usual Benjamin Gates (Nicolas Cage) is the main hero with exceptional skills to solve riddles. The story starts with Benjamin Gates(Nicolas Cage) giving a presentation to glorify his ancestors. But he is challenged by a stranger ‘Mitch Wilkinson’ who succeeds in proving that Benjamin Gates’s (Nicolas Cage) great-great grandfather was actually involved in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. So in order to prove his family’s innocence Cage decides to solve the secret and that is the main crux of this movie. Cage in the process of solving this mystery gets access to Buckingham palace and Oval Office. As if it was not enough he succeeds in kidnapping The President of United States. When will Hollywood grow up. They think that they can show us any unbelievable stuff and we will accept it.
Inspite of all these weird things the Hindi dubbing of the movie is quite good. The cinematography is good and there are some funny moments in this film. The climax of this film is nicely shot and does manage to impress you.
Overall it could have been a great movie had their been a good script. So if you have nothing to do for the week end ; Go and watch it.
